(Juin 2006) - Comme à tous les ans, l’été est arrivé avec ses bienfaits et ses inconvénients. Ici je pense à tous ceux d’entre vous qui doivent se protéger des rayons du soleil à cause de la médication. Comme à tous les étés nous fermons notre bureau pour le mois de juillet. Le printemps a été fructueux en activités et le rythme sera repris en septembre. N’oubliez pas de prendre note des changements au calendrier des activités, surtout réserver votre samedi du 14 octobre prochain pour l’assemblée annuelle de votre association. Encore cette année nous avons progressé au niveau des membres puisqu'à la fin mai nous avions reçu 71 adhésions Ceci  porte le total des membres à 275. Cependant, 17 sont inactifs à ce jour leur cotisation pour 2006 n’ayant pas été reçue. Le nombre de participants aux réunions régionales s’est accru de façon appréciable et nous avons eu le plaisir d’accueillir des conférenciers hors pair. Je vous souhaite un été de plaisir et de repos et surtout n’oubliez pas que l’exercice est bénéfique et que cette saison est propice à maintes activités.

As with each year the summer arrives with all its benefits and inconveniences and with this I will think of all of you who must protect themselves against the suns rays because of certain medications.  Our office will be closed during the month of July as in the past.  The spring was filled with lots of activities and these will restart in September.  Do not forget to note the changes in the calendar of activities, above all, reserve Saturday the 14^th of October for the annual meeting of the association.  Once again this year we have increased our membership and at the end of May we had received 71 new membership requests which brings us up to a total of 275 members, 17 are inactive at this time which means that their renewal for 2006 has not yet been received.  The number of participants from the outside regions has nicely increased and we have had the pleasure of welcoming some outstanding speakers during our numerous activities.  I would like to wish you all a relaxing summer full of joy and don’t forget the benefits of exercise; this is a favourable season to profit from activities.
